Kung Fu Journey:

Why I Train?  Henry Sue’s Circular Tong Long not only allows me to ‘attack the attacker’ in a highly effective way when needed, but also keeps me physically and mentally fit.

What do you do you think of the style you train?  Highly effective. Classy. Intricate. Challenging. Beautiful.

How do you perceive it to other style?  More interesting. Better use of energy. Compared to many others: superior.

Would you recommend the style anyone and why?  Yes, I would recommend Henry Sue’s Circular Tong Long (Yuen Mo Pai Tong Long) to anyone, male or female, young or old, tall or small. This unique and highly effective fighting style uses borrowing and circular movements that make it possible for small people to stand up to much larger aggressive individuals.  Size does not matter in this art that also focusses on respect, leadership and helping others.

Philosophy:

What is your Kung Fu Philosophy?  Respect your Sifu. Respect your students. Respect others. Train what you’ve been taught. Share the knowledge. Be honest, modest, kind and contribute. Always try to do the best you can.

What is your Life Philosophy?  Nothing is impossible. You cannot always control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you and in doing so overcome life’s challenges. Focus on the positive and value honor, discipline and respect.

What do you think of your Sifu ? Unique. If ‘Great wisdom is not obvious’, then Grand Master Henry Sue is perhaps one of the best examples. Small in stature, but tall in deeds, this patient, humble and kind teacher has a unique way of transferring his wisdom, skill and knowledge to the ones he teaches. When listening to him, motivation comes easy. His dedication, energy and commitment are inspirational and serve as an example to others.
