Kung Fu Journey:
Why I Train? Initially I started Kung Fu so I could defend myself, I now after 35 years of Kung Fu training I do it for the art within the style and the privilege of passing it onto others.
What do you do you think of the style you train? I believe this to be the ultimate martial art as it has high levels of ‘martial’ and ‘art’ balanced intelligent philosophies added by my Sigung and Sifu.
How do you perceive it to other style? As noted above I believe this art to be the ultimate, however, there are other good arts out there that should be respected for their skills.
Would you recommend the style anyone and why? I would recommend this art to both genders irrespective of age (provided they are active and healthy) as I believe the art and associated philosophies equip individuals do deal with most things in life.
Philosophy:
What is your Kung Fu Philosophy? My philosophy regarding Kung Fu is that we all need three main things in life to sustain us….Work (so we can eat), family, friends and a love partner (to satisfy our emotional needs) and a passion that involves physical activity and the health benefits.
What is your Life Philosophy? Balance life’s elements such as love, work, health, personal endeavours to best serve yourself, your family, your friends, and the community.
What do you think of your Sifu? My Sifu is a significant mentor in my life whose thoughts and philosophies have helped and guided me throughout my adult life.
