Kung Fu Journey:
Why I Train? It’s been a dream of mine since I was young to learn KungFu. It was opportunity that I stumble into this art while in High School. Through the course of training and the knowledge of metaphysic, the love of Kung Fu is something a person is born with. It is “said” the love and passion of kung fu is govern by certain planet/s in one’s birth chart. This become more apparent through regular training over long period of time (years…decades) and where a person becomes integrated with the energy from HEAVEN to PERSON to EARTH.
What do you do you think of the style you train? As the Circular Tong Long takes roots into oneself (as a whole), it reveals the binding of the Cosmic energy through all one’s energy point from the crown (chakra) right down to our roots (chakra). This channel the way energy is activate throughout our body, which could be felt and trained with distinct clarity.
Our style provides the equation for individual to enhance themselves, through their own level of understanding. As we progress higher into the MASTER level, it becomes more conceptual (mind / sub conscious becoming more pronounce). To advance into the higher energy we need to understand the Verses/Sayings that are etched into our style / system and the meaning of it. To become the essence, we need to become ONE (with the essence and feel it in us)
How do you perceive it to other style? From what I have seen their understanding can be quite in-depth in certain aspect of their art, but they are not able to integrated their knowledge. technique and action and translate that to a continuous flow for fighting.
Would you recommend the style anyone and why?
I recommend this art to anyone who wants to learn Kung Fu and be able to train for their entire life, this art provides perceptual knowledge that comes with training, understanding and feeling. The way we training (and the adaption we make) we can overcome some of the injuries we have. Besides that, it is actually the “FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH”, that so many people are looking for.
The ONLY question is, do they have the endurance, mind set and passion for it!
Philosophy:
What is your Kung Fu Philosophy? Improving my wisdom, living in harmony with the cycle of nature, other people and within myself. Training Kung Fu to keep me in this harmony and balance (Yin and Yang) and help me to flow my Qi (Chi) to enhance my inner energy, physical power and promote mental health, to cope with my daily life.
Through continuous training my primary objective is to awaken the full potential of my awareness and higher self (and to become an essence)
What is your Life Philosophy? Adapting myself to my environment. Believe that disappointment will happen when my effort does not give me the expected return. Then it becomes a challenge, overcome this challenge will make me a stronger and better person. Frustration is a sign that I have taken some part of my goal or life path too seriously.
What do you think of your Sifu ? SiFu is a pinnacle of knowledge and he always know when to impart these knowledge to us individually, and at the right moment. Being hands for SiFu when he performs Jongs’ is priceless, SiFu will always show you where your weakness is and what you need to train.
