Kung Fu Journey:
Why I Train? Gives me a way of life
What do you do you think of the style you train? This style presents great information that needs to be meditated on and trained for the environment that the student will face. The student must polish his sword so as there is no hesitation (be first). His techniques and learning should be so sharp that they are a single weapon.
How do you perceive it to other style? All styles are trying to solve the same problem. They just approach the problem from different directions. It comes back to the individual to make the most of the information on offer.
Would you recommend the style anyone and why? I would recommend the style to anyone looking to fill a hole in their lives. Ultimately people self-select and will eventually choose a club or style that suits their ego or desires.
Philosophy:
What is your Kung Fu Philosophy?
Know that the battle has begun long before any confrontation. Skills are required to have that world view, hence the saying “One must live the Art”.
Mind Set – Not to Judge others, Not to Judge myself. No rights or wrongs. No win or lose. Aim is to remove the problem, stay on my path and survive.
Skill Set – Develop skills that remove the problem and maintain my freedom
Rule Set – Understanding of the battlefield will drive my Mind Set and Skill Set
What is your Life Philosophy? One must know himself, and stay true to his Way.
What do you think of your Sifu ? Like my Father, Friend, Mentor
