Kung Fu Journey:
Why I Train? Self defence, self discipline, fitness and because I love Yuen Mo Pai Tong Long!
What do you do you think of the style you train? Very deep, fun, challenging and extremely effective when used correctly.
How do you perceive it to other style? I see TLYMP as being very evolved and modernised while still maintaining its historical legacy. Many arts are stagnant and have not changed much since they originated and/or have been watered down to suit a modern audience.
Would you recommend the style anyone and why?
I do regularly as there are many benefits gained through training (aside from just fighting skills) such as confidence, concentration, discipline, coordination, and maintaining relaxation while under duress.
Philosophy:
What is your Kung Fu Philosophy? Keep an empty cup, open eyes and ears, a willingness to serve, a desire to be the best and help the next generation be better than yourself.
What is your Life Philosophy? Never stop learning or improving and always strive to be the best you can be. Leave everything in a better state than you found it.What do you think of your Sifu ? I am inspired by his dedication to mastering TLYMP (and many other arts) and serving his Sifu. He is extremely humble and a great teacher/mentor. I’m honoured to call him my Sifu.
